With over five years of hands-on experience in pet care, Meise is a passionate and knowledgeable caregiver who brings deep compassion and energy to every animal they meet. Specializing in exotic pets and certified in pet CPR, Meise is currently working toward becoming a veterinarian—a natural next step in a lifelong journey centered around animals. At home, Meise manages a wonderfully lively household that includes a dog, five cats (one of whom is hearing-impaired), and a flock of birds. Balancing the needs of such a dynamic group—especially with a disabled pet—has given Meise a unique sensitivity to individual care. Birds hold a special place in Meise’s heart, but their love extends to animals of all kinds, exotic or otherwise. A seasoned rescuer, Meise has opened their heart and home to countless animals in need, from kittens and puppies to a sick raccoon. They strive to make every pet’s experience enriching and joyful, always engaging fully—no shortcuts—because for Meise, this isn’t just a job, it’s a calling.
